Toledo Zoo – Mini-Zoocation Begins May 21, 2017

We started our min-zoocation visiting good friends at the Toledo Zoo. This is my umpteenth trip to Toledo in the past four years since friends relocated there. This terrific zoo never ceases to wow me. The collection grows and expands with each visit. We got there just as their new, charming koala went on exhibit. We saw lots of babies including some adorable lemur babies, a growing and playful polar bear, an amazing bird collection, Tasmanian Devils, a Paca (never saw one of those), kiwi, wombat and lots of special hippo time. We had a blast. A shout to all for your time and generosity of spirit. We will be back.
