Edwin B Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge August 23, 2015

At the suggestion of a good friend we stopped at the Edwin B Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge   on the way home from the Cape May County Zoo. And what a treat it was. It is an eight mile drive thru around 47,000 acres of NJ coastal habitat and is an important link in the seasonal bird migration. I am not a birder but my friend was doing the best he could to point out what we were seeing. All I can say is ‘Osprey.’ Coincidentally there is an article in today’s NY Times about OspreysFORSYTHE
