Took a trip to the Bronx Zoo about a month ago to meet up with some good friends and their kids. It was a fun visit but we did not get to see much of the zoo (again, kids). Enjoy the photos and happy May to one and all.

Also I’m not sure if the Bronx Zoo has a petting zoo area – but I can guarantee if folks go to one they will experience a close encounter of the herd kind! 🙂

Judy these pics are great. You managed to get pics that I never did because of unfavorable lighting. You are amazing! I was there yesterday for the RUN FOR THE WILD event. (I walked) haha

That’s a dhole (Asian wild dog) on the rock. They now occupy the site that formerly served as the polar bear exhibit.
