My apartment has a perfect view of the beginning of the annual NYC Pride Parade. It is always festive, colorful, fun and very loud. Hope everyone enjoys the day wherever you are. Stay safe and have fun. My little gang (Mr. Pepe, Roberta, Audrey and Pete) have gone all out this year in colors of the rainbow. Most of these photos are from previous Pride Parades but since the Parade doesn’t start for another five hours enjoy my past photos.

Looks like it might not rain on our NYC pride parade today – at least not all day. Happy Pride!

It has been a long tough week for most of us. It is incomprehensible to lose a Constitutional right. The Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution provides a fundamental “right to privacy” that protects a pregnant woman’s liberty to choose whether to have an abortion. That all changed on Friday with the outrageous SCOTUS decision. Thought I would try to put a smile or two on faces out there by sharing some photos of my little collection of critters as they celebrate Pride without prejudice.

Today is a big day in NYC. The 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots is being celebrated with a larger than ever parade down Fifth Avenue. It is going to be loud and proud. Today’s salute features photos from previous Pride parades as seen from my small perch at Casa Lobo. So much progress has been made but more needs to be done. Have fun and be safe. The top photo is One-eyed Jack from last years festivities. That little guy crossed over the rainbow bridge last November. Miss him every day.
