MJ-TamanduaIt was fun to introduce a group of seven fabulous ladies to the Staten Island Zoo this week.  Once again, General Curator and Vet, Marc Valitutto, was extremely generous with his time and access.  A shout out to Marc and all of the fabulous animals at the Staten Island Zoo.

Want to see some beautiful birds up close and personal? Next Sunday, June 1 is our final Breakfast with the Birds photo event of the season at the Central Park Zoo.  For details and tickets, go to the website here.SIZOOMAY2014

I would love an answer; I assume that beautiful white and brown animal at Staten Island is a sloth? What sort of sloth is this? Brent Malarkey

The brown and white animal within the montage is a two-toed sloth and the brown and white animal above the montage is a tamandua.
