Westminster Dog Show at 150 February 8, 2026

We attended the 150th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show last Monday. We got to see the Hound, Toy, Non-sporting and Herding groups. As far as I was concerned they were all Best in Show. If you have never been to one of these events I encourage you to go. It is a feast for the eyes. Not only are the dogs sensational but the handlers were a sight to behold as well. Their outfits complete with sequins and sparkles are so much fun. Their dedication is a marvel. They are also eager to engage you in conversation about how they got there, what it takes to spend the entire day there and of course their opinions about NYC are both outrageous and funny. We had a ball.
