Here is the final stop on our zoo-cation to the Tampa area. The Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary is located on the ocean in Indian Shores, Florida. ‘The sanctuary is the largest wild bird hospital in the U.S. based on the admission of over 8,000 injured birds each year. It is set up to immediately triage, stabilize, and administer fluids to malnourished or injured birds’. We were lucky to see a Brown Pelican chick that was only two hours old. Enjoy the photos and watch the video of the chick. (If you subscribe to my weekly Sunday photos (and get them in your in-box) you are probably not able to view my videos from your inbox image. Just scroll up and click on the Blue link (which is the name of today’s send) and it will take you back to my ‘While at the Zoo’ website where you can watch the video selection.)
I enjoy being the first! I loved the picture of the pelicans together and the collage.Have a great day!
