Oh those April Showers May 3, 2020

It seemed to rain more than usual this April in NYC. The good news is that those April showers sure brought those beautiful May flowers. During my 52 days of lockdown (so far) I walk in Madison Square Park a lot both with my dog, Mr. Pepe and by myself. Round and round and round I go noticing all of the trees blooming, the flowers growing and the grass getting greener. I managed to even read all of the memorial plaques on the benches which made me both sad and nostalgic.I hope you are all staying healthy and managing to get out to smell the flowers (thru those masks if you can).

I think this was one of the loveliest Springs ever! I’ve been going out every day (rain or shine) … with a mask & care, of course. I’m glad I haven’t lost my appreciation for the beauty of Nature. Thanks for this lovely collage!

These are beautiful Judy! I was just over there yesterday and I couldn’t get over the colors. I think everything looks greener when you spend most of your day in a white apartment!

Nice perspective to enhance their loveliness – thanks Judy!
Also, apparently it’s good to talk to your plants. I taught my flowers mathematics and they ended up with square roots! 🙂

The Madison Square Park is indeed a lovely area, and of course you would live near there … and enjoy it!!! The parks have finally re-opened here and it is so refreshing.
