The photo above was taken before the beginning of time. It is of my father, my dear sister and me. My father is gone a very long time and our memories of him (while all good) are fuzzy. He was kind, funny and sang a little like Perry Como. He loved magic and playing pinochle. I even remember some of his card buddies names – Blind Jimmy and Fat Al are two that come to mind. The animal kingdom is dominated by female caregivers but there are exceptions. I have included some of those joint caregivers in today’s salute to fathers. Happy Father’s Day!
