It has been about 10 years since Dale Chihuly’s work was last seen at NYBG. Dale Chihuly is an international art star. He changed the course of glass art with his innovation, creativity and amazing talent. I’ve been following his work since his days of glass blowing at RISD’s Tillinghast Farm where we both went to school in the ’60’s. In 2014 we went to Seattle and saw his beautiful work at the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum in the shadow of the Space Needle. This new exhibit at NYBG is inspiring and if night lights are something you like, why not go for the evening and see some of his work in a different light?

I’ve been following him since his days of glass blowing at RISD’s Tillinghast Farm in the ’60’s. Last week’s trip to Seattle brought us to the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum in the shadow of the landmark Space Needle. Colortastic!
