Our mini-May Zoocation finale was at the Cincinnati Zoo. It was a rainy, bleak day and after one click, my camera died. We tried triage to no avail. After a small ‘woe is me’ breakdown I took out my iPhone 6s. All of the photos in today’s montage were taken with my smart phone. I like the Cincinnati Zoo (second visit) but the weather caused many of the animals to be indoors. Despite not seeing adorable baby hippo, Fiona, we had a great time. PS – they have the best insect house we have even seen.
They have manatees! so cool! one time I thought my camera was broken, but it turns out I never took the lens cap off. Are you sure this isn’t the problem with yours?

Great pics. Love the Cincinnati Zoo. Got to see their tulip display several years ago. Breathtaking!… Love that shot you got of the Lemur.
