It has been four years since we visited the Oakland Zoo. I have always liked that zoo but now there are some even bigger improvements. They have added a whole lot of acreage and built a cable car that goes up the mountain to an event center with a delicious new cafe and extraordinary views of San Francisco. If you are in the area – go visit.

I am a huge lover of bats and almost every other animal you present, well … maybe not hyenas. xoxo
