Today, June 8th, is World Ocean’s Day so I thought it fitting to share photos from our fourth stop on our all Tennessee zoocation – the beautiful Tennessee Aquarium. This 1992 riverfront facility single handedly rejuvenated the downtown area of Chattanooga. Speaking of Chattanooga, it is the only city with its own typeface . And, while in Chattanooga, a must see stop is of course, the Chattanooga Choo Choo (photos below today’s montage). All you train enthusiasts out there should check out the Choo Choo and the hotel. Fun!
And remember, every time you visit your local aquarium or zoo you are helping to support conservation projects locally and worldwide. This year, over 80 AZA-accredited facilities are holding events in honor of World Ocean’s Day.
