The 9th and final stop on Zoocation 2019 was the always enjoyable San Francisco Zoo. My good friend and Co-Director of Animal Care Dom Dorsa greeted us and spent quality time showing us all of the new things that are happening at the zoo. I have been coming to SF Zoo for the past 20 years and it feels like a very comfortable second home. Thanks Dom for spending time with us. We will be returning soon.

Last week’s trip to the west coast was filled with great weather, family fun and a few adventures. A west coast visit would not be complete without a stop at the San Francisco Zoo. There were lots of new animals to see (wolves, bears, sifakas) and improvements to many habitats. A shout out to Dominick, who always makes our visit better and more memorable.

For the third year in a row we find ourselves on the West Coast at the wonderful San Francisco Zoo. This zoo holds a special place for my California family and me. A loud shout out to Dom Dorsa, Curator of Birds and Reptiles for his generosity, spirit and time. You made our visit very special. We will be back.

Little Baby Kabibe, the young gorilla was adorable (even while sleeping) as were the adorable six baby peccaries. When visiting my California family we always go to the San Francisco Zoo. Last week’s visit was extra special because Bird Curator, Dominick Dorsa was our host. He was amazingly generous with his time and gave my family some memorable extra special zoo access. A big shout out to Dominick and the staff at the San Francisco Zoo.

On our recent trip to California we visited, as always, the terrific, San Francisco Zoo. Unfortunately their new Sumatran tiger cub was not available for the public to see yet – but I do hope to see her when next we visit in June. The weather was perfect and it was fun to see some new exhibits.
