Wednesday, April 22nd is Earth Day and it got me thinking about our fragile and beautiful world. I began to reminisce on my travels and before I knew it I was diving deep into my photo archives. I spent too much time looking at photos and reading my trip journals. Truth be told I have not been on an airplane since before Covid. Perhaps it is time to think about traveling once again. Some of todays photos are from our travels to Antarctica, the Arctic, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Belize, Scotland, Thailand, India, Nepal, the Galapagos, Yellowstone in winter, Machu Picchu, Amsterdam and Muir Woods. I left out a whole bunch of other wonderful places we have visited because I was running out of time. Enjoy!

It was a beautiful day with a sensational host. EVP Paul Grayson could not have been more hospitable, entertaining and gracious when we visited the Indianapolis Zoo on our Mini-Zoocation in early May. It is a big zoo with something for everyone. Meeting walrus’, rhinos, orangutans and dolphins up-close and personal were unforgettable experiences. Seeing their scarlet macaws free fly overhead throughout the day was also amazing. Thanks to Paul and an outstanding crew for this visit.

Svalbard WalrusPhotos from our amazing adventure to Svalbard, Norway with National Geographic/Linblad continue with Part Two. Of course seeing polar bears  in the wild was breathtaking but nonetheless fabulous were the walrus, seals, whales, reindeer and rich bird life. We reached the 80th parallel north and were about 600 miles from the North Pole. Part three will feature the beauty of the landscape. SVALBARDPARTTWO
