Thanksgiving is all about food, fun, family, friends and giving thanks.  I am thankful for the opportunity each day to have incredible, beautiful creatures in my life and to be able to share their uniqueness through my photos.  Thank you for looking at my photo montage each week and thank you for your feedback. Madison the elder cat, the amazing two year old kittens, Audrey and Roberta and I wish you all a very warm, healthy and safe Thanksgiving. This is the first Thanksgiving in 10 years without our adorable Benny the dog . I give thanks for those 10 years that we had with him.thanksgiving2015

Holiday OuttakeFor the past eight years I have been featuring Benny the dog on our annual holiday card.  With the addition of kittens Audrey and Roberta as the newest members of Casa Lobo, I attempted a group photo.  Many hats, bow ties and laughs later I present this year’s holiday card and some outtakes from our photo session.  Hope you enjoy their antics and wishing everyone a very happy holiday season.

Audrey:RobertaMeet my two new kittens – Audrey and Roberta.  They are seven weeks old and have been exploring every nook and cranny in my home.  They are curious about Benny the dog (he seems to like them a lot) and rightfully cautious about Madison the cat.  They are endlessly entertaining.  Enjoy!

It was a very rough week for those who suffered through Hurricane Sandy.  I am only now beginning to see the devastation on TV after emerging from four days without power at Casa Lobo.  The above photo of Benny and me was taken by our doorman before the more difficult days that were to come. Each day got more difficult and I apologize to those that crossed my path as my mood became darker and edgier – and I lost my sense of humor somewhere along the way.  Probably during one of those wretched climbs up 11 flights of stairs with Benny the dog.  In Benny’s defense – he was a trooper and Madison the cat just continued to do her thing (as cats do).  I took some photos along the way and thought I would share them with you.

Here is a link that depicts some great shots from more daring photographers who roamed the City during this past week. The very popular HighLine suffered as well. Closer to my heart, the he NY Aquarium got hit very hard.  Here is a link for photos and if you are inclined to help there are instructions on the NY Aquarium link.

I hope all of you out there are warm dry and safe from harm.
